Meet Jay

Hi, I’m Jay. I hold a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Calgary and have been tutoring students for the past five years. I bring practical experience, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching to every session.
I believe anyone can improve their math skills with the right guidance. My approach moves beyond rote memorization and focuses on building a clear, practical understanding of each concept. Whether we’re working through complex problems or strengthening foundational skills, I adapt each session to the student’s needs and learning style.
My goal is to make math feel approachable, engaging, and less stressful—while helping students develop the confidence and skills to solve problems independently. When I’m not tutoring, you can usually find me catching up on some well-earned sleep.
